Verizon Shell / Holster Combo

Pros: Easy to grip, use and put back in the holster, rugged
Cons: -

I have been using this case for almost two years now.
It is easy to grab your phone for use and easy to put away in the secure self locking holster with clip.
I wear it on my belt and work outside mostly, exposing my phone to quite a bit of abuse.
My phone has always been well protected with this durable hard case but very gripable.
I have broken two clips in two years, but that is not bad compared to other clip on holsters I have had in the past. If you treat your phone with more respect you should have no problem with this case.

Pros: Solid case, Protects well, Optional Holster, Adds size
Cons: None

This is a great case to protect your phone and still looks good. No latches or buttons, just slide in and out. Easily the best case Ive ever purchased for a touchscreen device. Since the Incredible is such a thin device, this case adds the size I need and a little grip so I dont drop my phone.

I got this immediately after getting the phone 6 weeks ago. The shell does a great job of protecting the phone and the holster is pretty convenient to get the phone into and out of. You will need to make sure you slide the phone all the way into the holster to make sure it locks in and cant slide out unexpectedly.

I picked this up from my local Verizon store. I tried a few other two-piece snap-together cases but they fit horribly they were so loose I doubt they could hold together during a drop. This one-piece case is sturdy, tight and the texture works well. It also protects the camera lens decently. The case secures itself to the phone by curling over the long sides, but does not curl over the ends. This is nice because you can still wipe the screen off without obstruction, as long as you wipe the long way.

I have not yet used the holster but I like the fuzzy interior surface that the screen would be facing it would probably be good for not scratching the screen.

Pros: Thin, solid feel, nice clip

Purchased at Verizon Store. Shell with Holster is still thin without adding bulk. Shell is tough plastic and does not add too much to thickness to phone. Slides in and out of holster with ease. A very good case. Clip is easy to use and durable. Can be used with thicker belts with ease.

I have had this case for over 2 months and it works good as far as keeping the phone thin, can use in the holster or just stick in pocket and leave the holster at home .I sometimes put it in case upside down that way it coves the mic (plug in) when headphones are not in use .

i have had no problems with the phone sliding out. It fits into the holster very snug. I even turned it upside down and shook it and it did not slide out. I am not the biggest fan of belt clip holsters but I went with this one because of the added grip and lack of bulk. While I would prefer that the clip were removable, I am enjoying the holster nonetheless. I do wish the cover would cover the top of the phone though

Great case,looks good and is sturdy. Phone can slip out if phone side is parallel to the floor, on your belt. Need to have it rotated so the top of the phone is angled up. I have had my phone fall out of the holster twice. But other than this on issue, its a really good case.

Ill acknowledge right off the bat that I am comparing this very nice case to even BETTER "Krusell" cases that Ive had for my TREO. Krusell does not make a specific case for the Incredible, as far as I know (their "Apollo" is a somewhat generic case)

I have owned this Verizon case & holster ever since I got my phone over a year ago. The worst thing Ive done to it is gotten into my car with it on my belt, to have the belt clip slip off my belt, and dump the phone, case and holster to the ground (or the the floor of my car).

Either way, after about a year of use, the plastic of the holster is starting to crack, and is therefore loosening its grip on the phone is its sleeve. Also, the pivot between the holster and the belt clip is really loosening up, and the system now has a tendency to dump the phone if I dont always check on it.

In comparison, Krusell belt clips can not pop off your belt the way that this clip does--your belt loops through a permanent leather sleeve with the Krusell. However, the little stud on the leather pouches for the Krusell can tear off the case (they slide into a receiver, and the lips on the receiver that hold the stud element into place are far too thin to be made out of plastic--which they unfortunately are). And the magnetic clip on the Apollo tends to be weaker than the weight of the phone, and.DUMP! when it turns over.

Hmmm.maybe the Krusell solution for this phone isnt as grand as I originally remembered it to be!

So.Overall.the Verizon system is pretty decent. Just be prepared to buy a new one every year or so!

looks better than it functions

I bought this case because it was more subtle and provided a good grip to make the Incredible feel a little more substantial. It slips into my pocket easily and has a good feel to it, but I dropped my phone from about 2 ft onto concrete and the screen shattered. This is because the screen is only protected on the sides by the case but not on the top and bottom. I just happened to drop it in a way that perfectly hit one of these edges but it was heartbreaking since i had only had it for a couple months. I dropped it on another occasion and the case cracked. better the case than the phone I guess.

This holster is open on one end. So if you bend the wrong way or something bumps the wrong end, your phone goes flying across the floor. Not a good purchase. I leave it in my purse for this very reason.
