Have been looking for a case and love this one. Bought it in the red but more like burgundy but love it anyways. Magnetic closure and love the smell of leather.

Fits Nexus One with Case-Mate Gelli Case

I went out on a limb and purchased this case along with the Case-Mate Gelli Case hoping that they would fit with each other, and to my joy they fit extremely well.

This Top Case slips onto you belt and holds the Nexus One very securely with the magnetic strap. The thin vertical form fits nicely on a thin guy like me. This case is designed for the screen to face away from the wearer as the outer side of the case has a groove for the Track Ball to slide down in. The case offers access to the headphone jack, volume buttons, power button, & mini USB connector.

The screen and camera lens are very safely protected by the case and the Nexus one is held securely while still retaining a smooth withdrawal from the case without lifting off of a belt.

As I mentioned at the beginning, I also purchased the Case-Mate Gelli Case to be used in conjunction with this case. The fit of the Nexus One with the Gelli Case is a little tight and requires two hands to remove from the case to prevent the case from coming off the belt, but the fit is not overly tight.

The only potential problem I can foresee is that overtime the belt hook might loosen up and fail to securely hold the phone on the belt. I had this problem with a case for a previous phone after about a year of use, so I figured I should make other buyers aware of this possibility. Overall though I will give this case a solid 5 stars.

Pros: Magnet closure much better than velcro for noise control in a meeting
Cons: Vertical orientation requires you to wear it on your side and not in front

Great case, very firm belt clip on. If you wear it on the front of your belt it tends to push off while sitting or getting in and out of care. Quiet closure with magnet.
