StarStarStarStarStar Nice sound!
User: Nicole W, Feb 12, 2010

Pros:  Sounds good in both mono and stereo use.
Cons:  Ear-piece doesnt fit well.

I really wanted a headset I could use to listen to music. This one seemed to have some really good reviews for a decent price, so I thought Id try it out. It sounds good both using the stereo earbuds as well as with just the mono ear-piece. I was able to listen to music from Pandora, the built in media player, and podcasts through podtrapper very easily. I wasnt able to hear sound on the movies Id ripped to the player, but that could be the way I ripped them.

The only thing I dont like is the ear-piece doesnt fit me very well. Im not a huge fan of earbud-style headphones anyway, so Im not surprised that I dont like this. I was disappointed that the earhook is as flimsy as it is and how it doesnt really seem to support the headset much at all. But I can use the stereo earbuds and just pull one out for single ear use while driving. :-)

Overall, Im very happy with it.
StarStarStarStarStar Nice BT system
User: Jim P, Oct 15, 2009

Pros:  Both BT headset and earbuds in one package long operational time
Cons:  Price low range base response of earbuds

Nice two in one system, with long lasting battery. You get the earbuds, the BT headset, and can charge with a micro USB port (same one as Pre uses) so if traveling you only need to carry one charger.

The low end response is not good, so if youre looking for hi fidelity earbuds this wont satisfy you. My regular (wired) earbuds provide better low range response.

StarStarStarStarStar Great Price - Poor Performance on Android - Poor support
User: anon ymous, Aug 7, 2010

Pros:  size, price
Cons:  faulty firmware, no support, lack of flexibility

I was hoping this would work out as a great accessory for my T-Mobile G1 able to handle both A2DP and HFP
Unit has an apparently common problem - googling confirms
When used with both A2DP and HFP simultaneously streaming audio skips and stutters. Audio lags by almost 10 seconds.
There are no various size earbuds for the stereo headset lanyard - My ears usually take the small size rubber cups included in other brand headsets.
Samsung support website doesnt have support information available for WEP870 and you cant register it there either - very disatisfied with this purchase :(
StarStarStarStarStar Not Good for Motorola Droid
User: Mark Piner, Jun 1, 2010

Pros:  Nice design
Cons:  doesnt work with my Moto Driod

I bought this headset about 6 to 8 months ago and it is the worst headset ever. First the design - the ear hook is made of very thin hard plastic and breaks very easily. Good luck finding a replacement hooks because as of the last time I checked they didn’t make any. I had to call customer service and beg for one to be sent out. Next, sound quality – although I thought the sound quality I was hearing in talk mode was good the people on the other end would tell me that it echoed allot and they could not always hear me very well. Last, the stereo mode – this is the true reason I bought the headset and it was very disappointing. The headset would cut in and out all the time. If the music or GPS stopped for longer than 10 seconds I would have to turn of the headset and turn it back on to reconnect. If I didn’t the sound would cut in and out so bad it would sound like a broken record or something. This also happened when going from music to call or GPS and back to music. I just could not handle the switching. I would not recommend this headset to anyone.
