Perfect for the car or anywhere!

I got this mainly for when Im in my car as more and more states are working on passing laws stating you must be on a hand-free device if youre on your phone when you drive. I did some research and the Pantronics Voyager 520 had good reviews everywhere I looked. So I decided to give it a try. It looks big, but is extremely lightweight. Instead of the usual earbud, which is very uncomfortable for me, theres a soft rubber tube-like thing that goes into your ear. Very nice! The ear hook starts as hard plastic, then curves around into soft silicone, which doesnt dig into your ear. The whole device is very lightweight so you could wear it for hours before feeling any discomfort. Its very easy to pair it with my phone as well.

Almost Very Good

I have had the 520 for nearly a year now. I got it to replace my old 510 which was also very much above average. Most of the time the fit and feel of this BT are comfortable. I can wear it for hours usually without having to fiddle with it. During calls the sounds is exceptional.What keeps me from giving it a five are three things. The first two of these could be related to my actual phone though. First, frequently enough to be bothersome, sometimes the BT will disengage from the phone when not in use but properly paired. Second, if my phone only has one reception bar or someone on the other line is on BT or speakerphone I am told I sound almost unhearable. When I switch back to regular phone all is well. Finally, battery life is not as advertized. When it was brand new I was getting maybe 4-5 hours of talk. Now Im getting less than four hours. Which is to say 99 of the time I can get thru a single day. But should I forget to charge it at night sometimes I cannot get thru even two days.
So in sum, when it works it works fabulously. It just does always work perfect all the time.
