Product Description

*PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION MAY BE REQUIRED*

The Parrot CK3100 Bluetooth Car Kit improves upon the CK3000 by adding a display that shows who's calling, last number dialed and more.

With the Parrot CK3100, you are able to handle calls in comfort and safety, without ever touching your mobile phone. Voice recognition enables you to place calls with both hands on the wheel, without taking your eyes off the road. The wireless connection between the CK3100 and the Bluetooth wireless technology phone is enabled as long as the phone is turned on.

No need to insert the mobile inside a cradle. Your phone can remain in your pocket, at the bottom of your bag, or on the backseat. At a time when legislation is tightening up to restrict the use of mobile phones in vehicles due to safety concerns, Parrot CK3100 benefits are not just for the sake of convenience and comfort - they are fast becoming a real necessity.

  • Hands-free use allows comfort and safety while driving
  • Mountable display shows who's calling, last number dialed and more
  • Quality digital signal processor-enhanced audio with volume control
  • Uses the car speakers and automatically mutes the radio
  • No headset, no cradle, no wires, no headset battery to charge
  • Allows dialing using numbers or voice recognition
  • Superior user interface with LCD display, featuring Caller ID, phonebook synchronization, last calls received, and last calls dialed
  • Works with other Bluetooth wireless-enabled phones—up to five different phones can share the system
  • Upgradeable software
  • Installation required

StarStarStarStarStar This thing is awesome

Parrot makes a great product. I had this installed in my car. While its probally an easy installation, I needed to have it professionally done. Sound quality for me and for the caller is amazing. two people in the car can talk and it works like a champ. Its much better than the ones that come in cars for many more dollars as an option. I want more parrot bluetooth products and as a car nut and accessory guy i cant be happier and I am almost never happy with products. I love it and would reccomend it to all. Its a safety issue. God knows i talk on my phone a lot and with this i have no worries. Go Parrot. next to my blackberry my favorite product. Best purchase of 2007.

StarStarStarStarStar Cannot change phone with some Parrots

Pros:  Because of laws handsfree is the way to go, plus the mobility of handsfree is wonderful
Cons:  My Parrot was installed in my minivan and does not pair with my phone, which the installer did not make me aware of.

Having two children and two dogs’ keeps me a bit unglued at times, and having the hands-free is wonderful. My husband also had the Parrot in his auto, and though he did not have the kids and dogs, his days were just as hectic. I was always worried about him and found that the hands-free was excellent for him and his business use (still is however he now uses a Jabra ear bud). That being said, we paid, for both vehicles, a little over $2000 for two Parrot devices and two backup cameras. Seeing this price here I feel a bit of a fool and taken because my cell phone never paired with my device, while my husbands did. He had a Palm Treo while I had the Samsung SGH 707. I was always a bit envious, because when this device works it is so very cool and easy to use, even while driving. I would highly recommend this, however, Id first find out if your phone pairs with a Parrot device, secondly Id get someone trusted to install it (the people who installed it in my husbands auto did not reconnect his radio wires properly and caused a short that lead to a slew of other problems), and third be sure youre going to have that phone and hands-free device in your auto for as long as you have the auto. My husband and I did not find out these problems until the install was already completed, and the radio difficulty was not discovered until we had our mechanic install a new radio. As much as technology changes you may be throwing your money away when you could purchase a simple Jabra ear bud, which tends to be more reliable anyway. I hope my review helps someone!
