Product Description

CK3000 Evolution is a continuation of the most successful Bluetooth car kit ever – the Parrot CK3000.

CK3000 Evolution is created to bring Bluetooth car kits to the new level of value. With the Parrot CK3000 Evolution, you are able to handle calls in comfort and safety, without ever touching your mobile phone. Voice recognition enables you to place calls with both hands on the wheel, without taking your eyes off the road. The wireless connection between the CK3000 and the Bluetooth wireless technology phone is enabled as long as the phone is turned on.

No need to insert the Android inside a cradle. Your Android can remain in your pocket, at the bottom of your bag, or on the backseat. At a time when legislation is tightening up to restrict the use of mobile phones in vehicles due to safety concerns, Parrot CK3000 Evolution benefits are not just for the sake of convenience and comfort - they are fast becoming a real necessity.

StarStarStarStarStar It just works!
User: Rich Smith, Oct 18, 2009

Pros:  Ease of use, radio muting, sound through car speakers.
Cons:  Nokia pairing can be tricky

Easy to install, easy to use and unobtrusive simple button pad. Voice recognition, automatic pairing, excellent sound quality through the car speakers, auto muting.... It just works! I dont do technology and this is so simple to use, pair it once, then just get in the car and it works by itself, nothing to remember, no forgetting to switch it on, no annoying earpeice. This is my third Parrot kit and I dont see any competition, its cheap and reliable. Tip for Nokia 5800 users - If it wont pair up, send it a business card first - then it will pair first time, took me some internet searching to suss it out.

StarStarStarStarStar Works quite well with iPhone 3GS 3.1
User: Michael Terhaar, Dec 8, 2009

Pros:  Uses iPhone voice control
Cons:  -

I bought the Parrott 3000 evolution and works great! It taps into the iphone voice control. Anything that you can do with the iphones built in voice control you can make it do just by talking. So, you dont really need it to push the contacts to the kit. The wiring is a little bit hard to figure out at first. I bought ISO connectors to adapt the wiring and everything worked out well. Call quality is good.

StarStarStarStarStar Poor voice quality
User: Charles Malir, Sep 5, 2007
Ive had one of these for about 6 months, using it with a Treo 650. Although I can hear the people at the other end fine, they invariably complain that I sound like I am in a tin can. This seems to be a common complaint using it with Treo phones. Take a look at the forums on the Parrot web site before buying it.

StarStarStarStarStar CK3000 is NOT fully compatible with the iPhone!
User: Jon Logan, Jul 21, 2007

Pros:  It will answer your phone with bluetooth
Cons:  It does not sync with iPhone contacts

Without the ability to sync with iPhone contacts you cannot use the voice dialing capabilities and currently there is no way to enter your contacts into the Evolution. Therefore it is no more than a bluetooth speaker phone that will cut off your stereo when a call is made or recd. The other Parrot models apparently are able to see the iPhones contacts and can sync with them so you have full access to all the voice calling technology.

Advice: Until they upgrade this model for iPhone, look elsewhere for a hands-free solution.

StarStarStarStarStar Does not work with Droid as stated
User: Lori Kellner, Nov 24, 2009
The system was professionally installed and after talking with Parrot, I learned that it will not work with the motorola Droid by Verizon. It does pair but it will never connect. They should not advertise incorrect information
