Its been rumoured for a while and now Google's entry into the mobile phone market is here. Built by HTC, the Nexus one can be purchased from http://www.google.com/phone. The phone is $529 unlocked and $179 with T-Mobile contract).What you need to know about the hardware is:

All in all the package looks good and if Google can deliver the same quality it manges for search and online applications, then this is definitely worth a look. The open nature of the Android operating system and increased support by multiple manufactures, should ensure that there are soon has more apps available than for the iPhone.
