StarStarStarStarStar Does what I expected !
User: Bugra Ayt, Aug 6, 2011

Pros:  good noise reduction, nice design, A2DP
Cons:  none

Noise reduction works so well, I have stand against strong wind and the ppl at the other end of the call heard me clearly and said she could barely hear the wind.

a2dp function does what i expected, of course you cannot expect super quality sound from a mono bluetooth headset but it was easy to pair with my bb9700 also Nokia E5 and sound is okay enough to keep you company and you can clearly hear the music.

Pairing with two devices works well i have paired it with bb9700+nokia e5, bb9700+pc both worked well. and listening to music at the office is cool.

And the earbuds for me there was no problem with them, they are not the most comfortable earbuds in the world but they stay in my ear and didnt fall for long hours. Comfort of them is open to arguement ý wasnt bothered much, they could be improved.

I couldnt test the battery time properly, it lasts at least 3:30 hrs talk time.

So far it does what i really expected. I would strongly recommend it

StarStarStarStarStar Outstanding!!!

Pros:  on/off switch, streaming music
Cons:  its not easy finding the right fit

Ive used the Jawbone I and II and this is the best one yet. Once I found the right fit, it was fantastic. Youll know you have a bad fit when you are talking to someone and their voice sounds as if theres no bass. Listening to music is another way to ensure you have a good fit and are hearing well.
The other great thing is that the call connect is no longer on the side of the earpiece, which means that if Im wearing a coat and look back I dont accidentally end the call. It also means that if Im adjusting the earpiece while on a call theres little to no chance that I will unintentionally end the call.
If you are looking for the next BT headset.GET THIS.
StarStarStarStarStar Had the Rogue, Washed it, MISS it
User: H p, Dec 19, 2010

Pros:  Clear sound, Picks up my voice
Cons:  ????

I had the Rogue, picked it out as part of a package when I bought the Pre. Did not think it would work with my voice.

I have extream trouble with any handsfree device picking up my voice. Even the VOCERA at work. did not think this would be any diffrent.

Wrong.. My hard of hearing father could understand all of my words not just part of them. Yea!

..Then it was left in a pocket and put through a compleate laundry cycle including drying :-(

After Christmas hopefuly I can find the Rogue again. I like the hint of red.

Wonderful product. I was hesitant at first but after reading many many reviews and trying other products first I must say I am impressed. What really got me to buy this product finally was the added ability to stream music to my tour via A2DP. Jawbone finally added this feature so I took the plunge. After downloading the latest firmware and updates and the using the product I am very impressed to say the least.

The call quality is excellent, along with also the music/podcast stream. I have not tried it yet with the turn by turn navagation but according to the website that functions also.

Go ahead and try this for yourself. Im glad I did. Excellent work.
StarStarStarStarStar Icon rocks!

I originally bought the Jawbone Prime and after about 4 months the battery would not hold a charge. Took it back and was given this unit as a trade and it is waaaay better! I love the power switch and the fit. Audio is great.
StarStarStarStarStar Sweet Little headset
User: Danielle Augustus, Mar 26, 2010

Pros:  small, multiple tips for indvidual comfort, great noise cancellation, multiple voice interface options
Cons:  none that i can find yet

bought the heaset and love it so far. most inner ear pieces make my ears hurt with in minutes. the icon comes with six different sizes and the ear hook is optional. the fit is very secure without the hook. i have only partial hearing in right ear and voices come out loud and clear! i have had to use left ear on other devices, not this one! also it uses a microUSB plug for charging. as that is coming to be a very popular cross platform type it means your car charger for your phone may work! pretty sweet that i didnt have to buy another car charger or tip for my iGo! the customizable voice prompts are good for a laugh, one of the easiest to pair with a phone. no complaints yet!
StarStarStarStarStar Love it!
User: Greg Jones, Mar 15, 2010

Pros:  On/off switch location.
Cons:  -

Fits great. sometimes forget its there. Works as advertised. The on/off switch location is much better than the Primes. The voice selection is a great feature. Wish that it would identify callers on my contact list by name instead of number. Maybe thats comming in a software update? Other than that, I cant think of any draw backs.
StarStarStarStarStar Jawbone Icon
User: Robert Miller, Mar 11, 2010
I have tried 4 different Bluetooth Headsets over the past 6 months, from Plantronics to Blueant. All of which had there various flaws, but the Jawbone Icon excels the others in the most important categories minus battery life. The only thing I would suggest theyd add would be a carrying case with a rechargeable battery like Plantronics offers. That would be the icing on the Icon Cake, otherwise GOOD JOB.
StarStarStarStarStar THE BEST
User: Mike Miller, Mar 3, 2010

Pros:  GREAT FIT, GREAT NOISE REDUCTION
Cons:  FORGET THAT I AM WEARING IT

I thought the jawbone PRIME was good this is much better. the balance and weight fit great. I did buy one (from att) and had to return it but the second one is just amazing. The voice dial works fantastic with my blackberry BOLD. I couldnt ask for a better bluetooth and it dropped $30 in price even better
StarStarStarStarStar Jawbone ICON
User: John Notarangelo, Mar 3, 2010

Pros:  Has all funtionality that every headset wants.
Cons:  None... I can deal with short charging and no volume.

I jsut recently purchased the latest Jawbone ICON, I traded up from the Jawbone 2 and have tried numberous ones withing airports and elextronic store around the US. This one does with the short comings of the previous ones, such as fit and charging. The fit options are great and mine fits comfortable and secure. The charging is great with micro USB much better than the magnet from previous models. The quality and flawless bluetooth with my palm pre is fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone with a palm pre.

StarStarStarStarStar Jawbone Icon
User: Anthony Boffice, Feb 10, 2010

Pros:  Great Quality
Cons:  -

I have a jeep wrangler with a soft top. Its been really hard to find a headset with great noise cancellation and good volume. I have tried all previous versions of Jawbone, the Voyager Pro, and a few stereo headsets. All excelled in one aspect and failed in another. This seems to fulfill all my needs. I can actually hear the callers in my noisy jeep and the noise cancellation is great. Fit is good, headset is light, and the addition of a button thats not actually secretly hidden to accept calls d such as well as a dedicated power button are all welcome additions. Lack of a dedicated volume button may bother some but hasnt been an issue for me especially since it remembers my last volume setting. The voice prompts for incoming calls and battery life etc are also a nice touch and makes the unit feel even more "high end". Sooooo... so far so good! Good quality, good features, and a fair price.
StarStarStarStarStar Great Purchase
User: Aaron Andrews, Jun 10, 2010

Pros:  Very light, charges quickly, cheaper than the Prime or New Jawbone when they came out, easy pairing, good sound, A2DP
Cons:  Battery life isnt stellar

The Icon was easy to setup and download software onto. Love that you can do updates so easily. Took a bit of time to find the right earbud configuration, but now thats pretty much a non issue. I have big ears (I guess) and most earbuds are loose, forcing me to use the earloop. The Icon has two that are large enough for me to go loop free! Overall a good purchase for me. I had the original Jawbone and the New Jawbone this is definitely an upgrade.
StarStarStarStarStar Not Bad
User: Viking Viking, Feb 16, 2010

Pros:  Works well
Cons:  would be nice to knwo which phone is getting call

Only real complaint is that there is a bit of static on my end (not noticed on receivers end). But otherwise very happy with purchase.

In future hopefully will let you know which phone to use to make/receive call through the software. Since this can be updated online, perhaps this is something in the works? One can dream.
StarStarStarStarStar Very uncomfortable, poor sound quality
User: Debra yardley, Jan 20, 2012
Though the noise cancellation seems to work well, from the feedback I receive from those I call, this device is very uncomfortable and the sound quality is poor. Very tin-can sounding, cant adjust the fit to get the best sound without holding it in place.
StarStarStarStarStar Not great
User: Lee Vuolo, Oct 10, 2011

Pros:  Size
Cons:  quality of sound

I heard many good things about this product, however, even with the volume turned all the way up, it is almost impossible to hear the caller. The caller can however hear me very well. I would not ecommend this product and may end up returning it.
StarStarStarStarStar Very Disappointed!
User: jennifer mason, Dec 28, 2010
The apparatus didnt have a proper case for storage for considering the amount of monies paid.
The performance was equally as disappointing, noise cancelling, a joke I could have done without. Most claims were simply not true.
