Product Description

Do you have a smartphone or a tablet ready for MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link)? Then all you need is this HTC MHL adapter to connect a regular size HDMI cable to your Android with a micro-USB port. With the MHL adapter you will be able to connect your Android to your HDTV for viewing content on a larger display.

This technology connects your device to your HDTV from the micro-USB port to the HDMI port. The MHL standard features a single-cable with a low pin-count interface able to support up to 1080p high-definition (HD) video and digital audio while simultaneously charging the connected device.

Important information: If your HTC device has the ExtMicro USB connection you will need to use a regular Micro USB charger with the MHL adapter.

Pros: Puts every function of your HTC Sensation on TV screen
Cons: Not a one!

You do have to have the micro-usb power cable connected to adapter along with the HDMI cable towork BUT, HTC told me it would only allow you to play media saved to your gallery and from youtube.INCORRECT! I played movies from my t-mobile watch feature, played downloaded games like Angry Birds, Words with Friends, and Draw Something. I even went onto Facebook and was playing a Beta game on my 42 Inch plasma. EVERY feature on your phone displays on your TV including the home screen, so do not hesitate to buy the Motorola Bluetooth keyboards and turn your Sensation into a full blown home computer system. I will be getting the keyboard myself the second I can afford to! Thanks HTC DEPOT for a great product and support!

This is a great output adapter. I love how HTC lets you display the entire content exactly as it is displayed on the phone screen. Other companies only let you output your own content from your picture and video gallery. With this, you can fire-up Netflix mobile and output it to an HD display. The picture quality on a large HD display is not perfect but it is good. I had an HTC Incredible before and it had a similar output feature but this one is even better.

Cons: Not reconized sometimes and no instructions included

This is made by HTC I guess the reason for the high price. When this arrived there was no instructions included in the package and I had to figure out on my own that I needed to plug this into the power adapter for this to work. Now there are non-HTC less expensive alternatives available.
